Fire From The Gods - Vinyl Music Hall - Show Review

There isn’t a more accurate nor fitting description of what to expect when you attend a ‘Fire From The Gods’ concert than their name itself, ‘Fire From The Gods!” Their show is pure, it’s hard-hitting, it’s energetic, it’s intense & it’s a whole lot more. Writing & performing music seems inherent in each of the ‘Fire From The Gods’ band members as well as to the band as a whole. These guys were quite literally born to bring the gift of their music to all of us.

‘Fire From The Gods’ consists of AJ Channer on vocals, Jameson Teat on guitar, Drew Walker also on guitar, Bonner Baker on Bass & Richard Wicander -on the drums. They’re based out of the music capital of the USA, Austin, Texas. They’ve recently signed to Rise Records & Earshot Media. ‘Fire From The Gods’ are on the fast track to success. ‘Fire From The Gods’ newest album drops on August 26, 2016. It is available for pre-order now. Be sure to pick up your copy ASAP.

Having seen ‘Fire From The Gods’ a few times before I was extremely happy to be able to see them here in the city where I live, Pensacola, FL, and to also be able to see them at a different venue than I had been able to previously. This venue has a particularly intimate feel and has a really fabulous stage for the artists to perform on. Vinyl Music Hall is unique in the fact that the stage the bands perform on is visible to nearly everyone in attendance no matter where they’re standing. In addition this venue has several large flat screens broadcasting each bands set from a handful of places strategically placed through out the venue.

I was impressed as i always am when I attend a ‘Fire From The Gods’ show. They never disappoint. They leave their hearts and souls on the stage every time they play. They’re an extremely entertaining group to watch perform. And, I for one, get excited about just exactly how relatable the lyrics are. No matter what your interpretation of the songs are, “Fire From The Gods’ lyrics and music will find a way into your heart. It’s also particularly amazing to me when musicians stand up for what they believe in despite any and all odds using their music to do so.

In regards to this topic, I adore ‘Fire From The Gods’ supposition that they are speaking from a platform cast in heavy metal power, hip-hop consciousness, and even a little reggae spirit with an urge for chance through conveying a story that’s both personal and universal. It really doesn’t get much clearer nor powerful than that. As always, thank you all for reading.
